Winter Construction Wins 2011 STAR Award
Freeport, Ill. – May 15, 2012 Winter Construction has been recognized by Star Building Systems, a leading manufacturer of custom metal buildings, with the 2011 Star Buildings Outstanding Builder Award.
“One of our largest projects in 2011 was a nearly 90,000 square-foot state of the art manufacturing facility for the Greater Sterling Development Corporation and P&P Industries, Inc. in Sterling,” says Winter Construction President Mark Winter. “We were able to design and build the facility to the customer’s specifications in just 10 months, using Star’s pre-engineered building system.” In-house architect for the design/build project was Scott Winter of Winter Design, Inc.
The award recognizes Star Authorized Builders for leadership in the steel building industry and dedicated service to customers, along with market share and sales volume achievements. Mark Winter accepted the award Feb. 27, 2012 at the Star Buildings Annual Conference in San Juan Puerto Rico.
